SEBASTOPOL AFC CLUB RULES: 2005-2006

1. The Club’s Committee cannot interfere in team selection unless it effects any club rules.
2. All players are to be available for both 1 st team and 2 nd team selection. Refusal to play will result in player not being selected on that day and appearing in front of Club’s Committee.
3. If only one club fixture all players must turn up for selection.
4. If only a 2 nd team fixture, 1 st team players will only be picked for selection when agreed by both managers. 1 st team manager can insist on a player being selected.
5. Membership fees for The Greenway Social Club are mandatory to all players and club members. First year membership is £4.50 and £3.50 for every year after.
6. Subs for the season are £3.50 for players who work, £2.50 for non-working players.
7. All players must insure that their subs are kept upto date. If a player misses paying subs for 1 week he must catch up the week after. If the same player continues to miss paying subs he will appear in front of clubs committee and could be suspended, until the subs are brought back up to date.
8. If a player is booked or sent off and the club pays his fine he has two weeks to reimburse the club. If he does not pay his fine he will be suspended until the club is repaid. If the same member repeats this in the same season he will appear before the clubs committee.
9. All club members are asked to support all fund-raising activities for the club, including disco tickets, football cards, etc.
10. Any club member found causing damage to the changing rooms or club property will appear in front of Club’s Committee.
11. Any member while representing the club, be that he be supporting or playing for the club, is found to have caused an act of misconduct will appear before the clubs committee and could be fined £5.

    Acts of misconduct include:-
    Urinating in public,
    The use of alcohol before a game, at the pitch or in the changing rooms
    Violence towards any other club member,
    Any damage to clubs property,
    Any damage to The Greenway Clubs property,
    Any damage to a member’s property,
    Use of abusive language to match officials or opponents.
    Breaking of club or league rules,
    Abusing club managers or committee whilst performing club duties.

    If any incidents are reported against the club the offending member will also pay any league or council fine imposed.

    • The club will pay no players registration or licence fee. The player must pay monies to the club first.
    • Club kit is not to be taken home or used in training.
    • All players and club officials to meet one and a half-hours before kick-off time. If you are going to be late phone the club managers or The Greenway Club to let them know.
    • No player is allowed to play for the club until his registration has gone through. Managers to confirm with the club secretary.
    • All players will be expected to train, any problems inform club managers.
    • If a player or club member has a complaint they must inform the player’s rep or committee member, who will bring your complaint to the committee’s attention.
    • The clubs current committee picks all manager and committee positions. (If a position becomes vacant and you are interested apply through the club secretary).
    • When an emergency committee meeting needs to be called it can be convened as long as the chairman or club secretary and four members are available.
    • If a senior player is not registered with any club he will only be allowed to train with Sebastopol AFC if the 1 st team manager sanctions it. If a senior player is registered with another club he can train for 2 weeks but then must register with SAFC. Failure to do so and the player will no longer be permitted to train.
    • Any player or club member found to cause an act of misconduct in The Greenway Social Club would be dealt with by The Greenway Social Club’s own committee. SAFC club committee will be notified of their decision and bring the player or club member before the clubs committee. The Greenway Social Club's decision is final.
    • All football matters will be decided by Sebastopol AFC 1 st team manager.
