Sebastopol Club and Affiliated Rules
Revised: July 2008
Sebastopol AFC is governed by its constitution and affiliated league rules that will be adhered to by the committee and all members.
Football Rules
- Team selection will be made by the Team Managers; the committee cannot interfere in football decisions unless it breaks league or club rules or is harmful to the club.
- If there is only one fixture all players are expected to turn up for selection.
- All players are expected to attend training; if you don’t train it could effect your selection. If you’re unavailable you must inform a Team Manager.
- All players are expected to turn up at least 1hour before a game, or inform a Team Manager.
- Any player can train with Sebastopol AFC for a two week period but must then sign for the club to be allowed to carry on training with the club.
Subs/Fines and Club Registration
- A £10 registration fee must be paid by all playing members when they register for the club. No player will be allowed to play if he hasn’t paid his registration fee.
- Subs are £4.00 for working players and £2.50 for non working players and U/18’s, midweek home/away games are £2 for all players.
- During the winter training months between October to March, £1 must be paid by all players to pay for training fees. Players are only exempt if on holiday or are long term injured. This is not an addition to subs when a match is played but part of it.
- If a player falls more than 2 weeks behind in his subs he will not be considered for selection, continuous offenders will appear before the committee. A player must pay a booking or sending off with in two weeks of the offence, or will not be available for selection.
- The club will not pay a players transfer fee when applying for a transfer to the club. The money will be paid to the club before the club applies to the league for a transfer form.
