| 17th November 2004 The following images were published in the South Wales argus' sport section (17/11/04) following the 4-1 home victory over Ebbw Vale Town. Goals from L.Jones & M.Gallivan (3) secured the first team entry into the next round of the cup. |

| 13th December 2004 After a fine 2-1 away win against 1st division Abercarn United, the South Wales Argus headline the sports section with the clipping shown below. The greatest irony being that in the week leading up to the game, the same paper had branded the fixture "an easy passage into the next round" for Abercarn. |
